On December 12, 2005, Mariano and Heidi walked into the 8th grade science lab. While looking red-faced and shaky (a behavior that Heidi never experienced from him before) Mariano said, "I'm only going to ask you this once." She looked at the cardboard box in his hand thinking, "Cool, what are we going to blow-up tonight?" As he was pulling a gray velvet box out of the cardboard box, he said once again, "I'm only going to ask you this once." She said, "OH MY GOD!" "YOU ARE PROPOSING!" "Aren't you supposed to get down on one knee or something?" He said, "Oh yeah!" He got down on one knee and said, "Will you marry me?" Heidi said "Yes!"

Our wedding is on December 29, 2006 in Nigril, Jamaica at 4:00pm on the beach.

After the ceremony we are having a half-hour mini cocktail reception. We are not having a "regular reception" due to keeping costs low and the attire is island casual.

Also, this resort is for adults only.

For those who aren't able to make it, we are currently working on getting a webcast so you can view the wedding from your computer. As soon as we have more information, we will indicate it on this website. Also, we are hopefully going to be able to buy a house in May, 2007. When we purchase our house, we will have a reception (luau) in our very own backyard for everyone to come, stay and enjoy.
